Losing the mystique of last year's EP, this debut album sounds like the '120 minutes revivalists' tag. I'm undecided.

To be honest, I'd never heard anything by them before Hope Downs, so I didn't know what to expect. Played it three times in a row yesterday and found it incredibly good, even though they do sound, at times, like The Go Betweens fronting early Strokes. That looks even weirder in print. :?

Usually into this kind of thing but found this song rather bland. In the vein of new modern and poptastic, really digging the latest Young Fathers album.
