That's good - I bought V today and have yet to play it. Sunflower Bean seems like a huge career-defining improvement on anything they have done before.

This seems to be making a bit of a buzz at the moment in the world of immaculately produced indie:

It's too like Camera Obscura for me; I wasn't convinced.

I think it's a very poor year so far. Over half-way through and nothing particularly "special" yet.

The new Cowboy Junkies and Jayhawks records are well worth your while.

The songs by the second guitarist let it down a bit but there's at least half of a brilliant PC album there. And the Dangermouse production is not at all heavy-handed.

Some of the Minutemen references are a bit too heavy-handed for me but the PC is one of my favourites of the year so far as well.

Oh yes. Only listened twice but am liking it. All That Reckoning came out on Friday.
