bcb wasn't ready for my list in 2008. Even picking The Pop Group was considered too out there back then. But it opened the doors for successive BCB cups to get more adventurous, introducing spicier, more exotic ingredients to BCB's meat and potatoes diet. And things have never been the same since.
A game changer. No need to thank me.

A is very fine, but a bit obvious in parts, without the subtler shades of soul and jazziness that are part of my wheelhouse.

So its A's bold colours Vs B's pastels, A's bold strokes Vs the subtle etching of B. I think A will win this tie and possibly the whole cup and it will be deserved, its probably the least timid,most exiting list. B shows nuanced and advanced tastes and bravely eschews Indie/alt , but again this stuff isnt difficult - take the Gordian Knot (Love plays the Porpoise Song). In some ways B is the logical conclusion to A, its what happens next, once the allure of the (relativley)known wears off and you seek new thrills (although its not as calculated as that). Voting for B is not to seek reflected glory but to encourage these detours through the alleyways. Well done A
