No way.

Rapture is great fun with a wonderfully dreamy and sensual vocal.

Yup.

I went Footy option. It's fine, just not terribly exciting.

I've always enjoyed it.
Where would rock 'n' roll be without feedback?

I like it well enough, it's one of those 80s hits that often gets played at food festivals along with Rock The Casbah and Electric Avenue.

(Speaking of which, wasn't Eddy Grant in the Paragons?!)

I thought I once read that he was on the original "Tide Is High" hit single.

That turns out to be NEGATIVE - the song he did with the Equals that was covered by a popular punk/ new wave group in 1981 was: "Police On My Back."

Oh fine.

Stupid Clash always putting out records in the last weeks of the year always screws with the minds-eye sketch of their place on the timeline.

Rapture is amazing, glides effortlessly and Debbie’s rap is aces. The Tide Is High, on the other hand, is pretty poor. I don’t hate it but it’s always one I skip.
