Why on earth was it so long?
Instrumentally some of it was quite pleasant, but that didn't seem to match the harsh and very unmelodic vocal. It become a chore quite quickly.
I think you missed the highly melodic Gilmour, before you got to the harsher Waters, who was there to hammer home a point. A chore? Have a word with yourself. Dogs, is well, the dogs bollocks.
