I take it we’ve all got the Oakland 1977 bootleg? Animals live, is incredible.

All I want to complete my Pink Floyd collection, is for a quality release of this tour to surface.

That would make me very happy.

But none of them completely and utterly unredeemable shit.

Standards have to be maintained.

That’s important to remember.

The three songs are all epic especially Dogs and Sheep. Dogs is a top 5 song for me.
I still consider the 7/4/77 show at MSG one of my favorite shows of all time although its also one of the more dangerous ones also (m80's and firecrackers all over the place). It also was their last great album.

So did I and had the same reaction.
Why on earth was it so long?
Instrumentally some of it was quite pleasant, but that didn't seem to match the harsh and very unmelodic vocal. It become a chore quite quickly.

I think you missed the highly melodic Gilmour, before you got to the harsher Waters, who was there to hammer home a point. A chore? Have a word with yourself. Dogs, is well, the dogs bollocks.

..'Hammer home a point' is an all too apt description of what it felt like to listen to it.

Amazing album and sometimes I think it's my favorite, but I strongly disagree that it's their last great album. The Wall is fantastic.

Of course it is.

I suspect many Floyd fans unknowingly diss The Wall simply because it had a No 1 single on it.

That ended the romance for them.

Yes, but one listen to an epic song that you were already predisposed to dislike...I mean.

Richard, have you got Atom Heart, Peel Show, Paris Studios...?

I was there. Of course.

It's a shame somebody can't release it officially

Yes, I’m pretty sure I’ve got that one.

I’ve got a lot of live Floyd, so I’ll have to check.

But you were there? Of course!

That's the one I attended. I saw Zeppelin the same year at the same place.
