Yes I do that as well, funny how reading a book about an artist makes you feel like diving into their music again. I'm currently reading one on McCartney, so there's been quite a bit of Beatles stuff on the go, solo and Wings to come.

Think I've got both the New Order albums you posted, not ones I play often though - I'll have to check.

Got this one years ago from a friend, started reading it and then put it down, now picked it up again - nearly finished it now and very weirdly before coming back to this site I just ordered the one you posted by Philip Norman.

Apart from the Beatles I've read quite a few in the last few years recently about music artists and bands that have shaped my listening. Who have you read about that you would recommend?
