The only "Cosmic" album I've ever heard is "Enjoy the Melodic Sunshine". Liked it well enough at the time (20+ years ago), have played quite a few times over the years, and I'm still not bored with it. Is this album in the similar vein as the one I mentioned? I'm going to dig it out tonight.

Not quite the same as "Enjoy..." a bit more acoustic, more Neil Young "Harvest" than jangly Byrds.
He's used the name but he's been solo for a few years now. Not heard the album before this but it is supposed to be a bit more full on power pop. I think Jock is a big fan of his, he may know more.
I took a punt on buying a vinyl bundle from his record label "Last Night From Glasgow", a random selection of albums from their roster and this was included....which was nice.
