And I'm all out now....
Did you buy them as a job lot or with a magazine or something like that? I bought a job lot at a boot fair for something like a tenner - The Rock 'n' Roll era it was called, about 20 double albums. Not sure that I've ever played them. Seemed like a good idea at the time.

I picked them up in a charity shop, all in excellent condition. They all provide a decent selection of ‘the best of....’, something that in the days before Spotify, streaming and instant access to every tune ever at the tap of a thumb, would have given someone exploring what’s out there a good intro to each artist.
I think the set ran in the early 80’s for something like 30+ albums. Whole double LP sets for The Stones and The Fabs, a mish mash comp of ‘Punk’, winding up with early 80’s pop.
I’ll keep my eye out for others...

I remember seeing them before, can't remember where, think they might have been part of a magazine deal or something like that and I'm sure I've seen the odd one or two at boot fairs and the like.
