What do you make of the sound?

My own impression might not be quite as damning as it was on first listen.

Only had time to give it a superficial hearing but it sounded just fine to me but then again it would have to sound pretty awful for me to think that it didn't sound fine. But seriously, I thought from what I heard it did sound pretty good, not a pop or a click to be heard, the record itself was one of the cleanest and shiniest I've seen in quite a while and the whole presentation of the complete package was very good. I'm pleased with it, glad I spent the cash.

You've had thoughts beyond your initial views about it I gather?
