Re: Dolores O Riordan RIP
Well that is certainly sad. 46 years old.
Most bands would kill to have a single as perfect as Dreams.

That's too bad. I wasn't a huge fan, but she always seemed very committed to the music and a good person from the interviews I saw.
46 is way too young.

I liked that song, saw them at the Hull Adelphi around the same time it was out, early autumn 1992, in fact it was during my first week at university. My pal Neil's band supported them.
I can't say I liked anything else they ever did, but poor woman, that's a terribly early age to die nowadays. RIP.

Sad to hear this, even if I was never a huge fan of the Cranberries.
Where would rock 'n' roll be without feedback?

I like some Cranberries stuff, but I love this:
In any case, this is a big shocker. 46 used to be old, nowadays it is nothing. RIP

Was a big fan of the Cranberries in the early 90's sort of lost track of them after their third album but still listen to the early stuff.
46 damn that is too early

Ach....that is a shocker.
Quite liked her vocal on Angelo Badalamenti's The Butterfly.
No Baggage, indeed.

Whatever you thought of her music, there's no denying she had a bloody distinctive voice. 46, Jeez.
Like fast-moving clouds casting shadows against a hillside, the melody-loop shuddered with a sense of the sublime, the awful unknowable majesty of the world.

The Avett Brothers have been doing a nice version of Linger since O'Riordan's death. I thought this was a nice take on it.
