Tough one, since as others have stated, I do like the combo parts. The problem is the orchestral sections are so terrible that I don't want to go through them ever again to decide, and you can't even skip them easily. Into the Hall it goes

I had another listen today, and liked, rather than loved it: the next album is so much better. Although it has nice psychedelic elements, the overall group performances sound more 1964 pop, rather than cutting edge 1967. Definitely does not suck, though.

I think so too, but like that. It's the album's saving grace. Of course I generally prefer a rocky bridge between ideas to a shiny new one.
