Do Dougie and Anna dance to this one too?

Tempting to vote suck, but with the inclusion of "Tuesday Afternoon" I just can't. The actual "beat combo" stuff is still pretty good - good enough that the Mantovani strings and bad poetry can't ruin it, as hard as it tries.

Does not suck is my vote. But also kinda does.

You've got seven David Bowie albums in your Hall of Suck, Davey - no wonder you're persona non grata whenever you start one of these threads.

All the songs on this are excellent, even if the orchestration is an acquired taste to rock ears. 'Peak Hour' is thrilling, Hayward is on form as usual, and 'Dawn Is a Feeling' is the best evocation of wake 'n' bake.

I've not heard it, so I won't vote. I'm guessing it sucks though.
Like fast-moving clouds casting shadows against a hillside, the melody-loop shuddered with a sense of the sublime, the awful unknowable majesty of the world.

Oh dog, yes, into the pit with it, destroy it. It's not just the record itself, it's what it represents, the wrongest of the wrong turnings that led to Prog.

Damn it all to Hall

Still can’t decide on this one. I think I agree with every opinion on this thread this far -even the contradictory ones.

While there are certainly some suckage moments, overall this album is quite moving.

The first of TheMagnificent 7 (although really, it’s only Magnificent 5), so of course it doesn’t suck.

Ridiculous proposition.
