I like it but don’t love it. But I see most of us think there are far worse songs on the album.

I can't make any great claims for it. And it's a bit of a stretch to call it a cover, actually. But I love the sound they made in the early days.

John Cale produced the debut huh?

I've never heard that. I didn't realise it was pulled from the debut and replaced with 24 hour party people

He did. I don't think he did much. He'd just kicked the booze and spent most of the sessions sitting in the booth eating bananas, if I remember correctly.

Yeah, I should probably have Julia a wee bit higher. It bores me rigid tho' - and the 'her hair of floating sky is shimmering/glimmering/iiiiin the suuuun' bit makes me want to hit something.

There's nothing that I really dislike but this is as close to an order of preference that I can come up with

1. "Dear Prudence"
2. "Happiness Is a Warm Gun"
3. "Blackbird"
4. "Mother Nature's Son"
5. "Back in the U.S.S.R"
6. "Martha My Dear"
7. "Sexy Sadie"
8. "Revolution 1"
9. "While My Guitar Gently Weeps"
10. "Glass Onion"
11. "Cry Baby Cry"
12. "Everybody's Got Something to Hide Except Me and My Monkey"
13. "Helter Skelter"
14. "Long, Long, Long"
15. "I'm So Tired"
16. "Yer Blues"
17. "Julia"
18. "Wild Honey Pie"
19. "I Will"
20. "Why Don't We Do It in the Road?"
21. "Birthday"
22. "Savoy Truffle"
23. "Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da"

Honey Pie has an amazing guitar solo from John Lennon, check it out, it's extraordinary.
