Fibonaccis

Now that NOLA Mike hardly posts here anymore, I'm probably the only serious fan of Cajun music, too.

I worry this is a joke but I think they're great. The first album is one of my most played records in part because my children like it too.

No joke. They're vibrant and happy, and I love the Icelandic lilt in the vocals.

Is Carlsson not a fan? I'm not I must admit and I like most Gentle Giant.

Nah! Don't think so!
I'm sure he was there though!

Just listening to it last night, by chance. "Words From the Wise" has gotten its hooks in me. Some of the rest of the album is pretty good too.

I remember trying to start a thread about the band Morningwood here & several posters asked if I was feeling okay. With the benefit of hingdsight I kind of see what they meant.

After falling for his self-titled album on Shelter as an illegal download, I was very pleased to pick up an original LP when I visited Washington DC a couple of years ago.

I sent Guy E. a copy and was surprised to find I was introducing him to an American '70s roots artist that he didn't know, a first.

Like them both. I am just listening to Guthrie's latest production, the new Heligoland-EP. Quite nice.

I love all the GG stuff but this album is their weakest

It has some strong tracks as aforementioned

I'd flag up

Take Me - bobs along nicely in true GG style
Little Brown Bag - ROCKS!
It's Only Goodbye - is beautiful - some lovely Gary guitar
