I almost mentioned him on the Malcolm Young thread as Cassidy also had been diagnosed with dementia.

I wasn't a fan, and forgive the TV snippet but this clip has examples of him trying to perform with dementia, and then snippets of him talking about it.

Has this been confirmed ?

BBC still reported him as in hospital less than 30 minutes ago.

I saw a few reports but you're right, most main news outlets not reporting it. Thread amended accordingly.

Yeah, I saw last night that he was reported conscious. But I saw on a couple of otherwise reputable news sites first thing this morning that he'd died. Can't find it now.

My mistake. But unless he gets a liver transplant sharpish, it won't be long by all accounts so still sad.
