Re the Bowie Mp3 thing
If you don't have access to the Secret Room, just PM an admin and ask for it.

There are recent Bowie and Neil Young complete sets doing the rounds.

I'm assuming this is the old coughing room... I've not had access since my "flounce".

*Hint hint*

Which one? The Kowalski flounce or your “Coan or me” ultimatum?

This secret room thing used to piss me off. Now I take the Groucho Marx approach that I wouldn't want to be part of a club that would have me as a member.

It's hardly secret if all you have to do is contact an admin and ask to be included.

I had no idea there was such limited access to From Me To You.
Explains why there wasn't a much bigger response to when Slider offered those sets.

So far, I've been completely unable to play anything. Fun watching stuff buffering, though. Is anyone else having this issue? Can anyone clue me in on what I'm doing wrong?

I’m on an iPad (ooh, etc..) and I had to toggle the 320 switch a couple of times.

I bet the server is crashing on the first day of use. Nice to know he made good on it though!

The big buzz tonight is that Neil is playing a show in his hometown of Omemee.

There's a link to a livestream, which starts at 8pm est, in this article:

For anyone who already streams high resolution music into their hifi, this is way behind the curve. I don’t need to use a PC with an external DAC to do this. Get with the programme Neil or you will have another Pono on your hands.

I'm tuning in too. He's doing one of my least favorite Neil songs ever right now.

I'm enjoying it, though. He's a charming performer.

The whole thing is very charming, don't you think?

I'm off to bed now - it's 2 a.m. here. I'll catch the rest tomorrow.

I've been feeding at the trough on and off all day - scrolling through the archive listening to forgotten or unfamiliar songs and watching the online concert. I was overdue for a good Neil Young binge.

So go figure - plays just fine on my laptop at home. Maybe my work had it blocked, but other times that's happened I got an alert telling me so. The tracks just buffered and buffered. Not important I guess. Glad it's working now.
