OK, more up now. Just imagine Tom Browne/Bruno Brookes/Mark Goodier reading them out...

Also I noticed that I'd made a small mistake with the numbering of the previous entries, so that everything was listed one place too low. It doesn't affect the overall standings at all and nothing else has snuck in at the bottom, as we still had five albums tied at number 98.

That Shins album was one of the last of my longlisted albums to get cut. The guy's a top songwriter but I don't always like the style.

Elephant. Great. I'd forgotten I'd voted for that. I didn't expect any other of my list to make an appearance. Unless someone else did vote for Hitnrun Phase Two (spoiler)

Tony Blackburn, at best.....

Good batch this time. At The Drive-In was one I considered too.

Oh, man, I would have voted for that Deerhunter record, too, if i'd been thinking right.

Avalanches will be coming soon I reckon... based on it being the most overrated 60 minutes and 39 seconds of recorded music... ever.

It's a fun album which I enjoyed at the time, but it wore out its welcome fairly quickly. I'm pretty surprised people are still rating it highly over 15 years later. It's continued reputation is rather baffling.

BCB's resident Earnest Post-Rock Army are infrequent posters these days, if they are here at all. No votes at all for Mogwai or Explosions in the Sky.

And what of the Fence Collective?

They need to go neo-prog to get the N/E, Chigley, NMB vote or industrial folk to get the DF, Joel, Algroth vote. They're wasting their time with EPRA who are a busted flush.
