Me too.
I have the compilation of her Immediate stuff and it's superb, strongly recommended for those that only know her through one or two songs.

I have the Immediate collection (First Cut) plus what I think is probably her best studio album "Kafunta" :
both on CD.
I like the look of the 'new' one... must remember to get it.

Dissenting vote here. After reading the article about it in Shindig I'm actually glad to see other people liking it, 'cause she really had to fight to get it out, but I really didn't enjoy it much.

Its a decent album, good to hear the stuff with Derek and the Domino's who seemed to be playing sessions on loads of records around that time including All Things Must Pass. Not classic but very much worth listening to.

I listened to an interview she did on the BBC World Service station while driving back from vacation. Very interesting career! I think I'd only heard her version of "Angel of the Morning" previously.
Where would rock 'n' roll be without feedback?

Pretty much my thoughts.
I like her voice ...but in moderation. There are way too many times on here that she goes into that wobbly, off pitch vibrato, and it really wears me down after awhile. I also think the discrepancies between the two bands/sessions is too obvious as well - it makes it quite uneven. And I'm not sure the material is all that either.
As with most of these 'treasures' that were lost for decades - there's probably a good reason why.
