That's pretty much how I felt about all the other questions until the one I managed to answer . Did you listen to the track once you identified it – Thang-y had never heard of it, but recognized it immediately when I played it to her?
Incidentally, I tried the same question on the imdb music boards about ten years ago and it was solved in about three minutes - admittedly by an American who was born in the 1940s...
