I think they could have easily beaten the Stones in a fist-fight. Well, until they started taking all that acid, anyway.

and Parachute is the album that Beggars Banquet could have been.

Some might, I suspect most wouldn't. But they were still a superb band on their own terms. There's no need to keep putting them in the Stones shadow.

There isn't too much similarity between Satanic Majesties and Sorrow, other than the fact that they are both psych LPs. And Beggars and Parachute have absolutely nothing in common.
