I like them better than eating crackers in bed.
I think the albums are pretty darned solid starting with Stand and ending with Sylvester's nasal cartilage.

Yeah I think so. Riot Goin On is very close to being a perfect album, one that sets up its own sonic universe and lives there. It sounds utterly unlike anything else.

There is finally a live album by them, cut at the Fillmore East, that came out last year on Sony Legacy, and it is great. It was made while touring Dance To The Music, so missing most of their biggest hits. But damn they were something on stage. I hope they finally get it together to release some more live stuff that covers their better known songs.
