No. Their best probably is Dark Side of the Moon, for all that it's been played to death and everyone is sick to death of it. WYWH is about 3/4 as good.

There is definitely something that happens when you get all (or in some cases, nearly all) the original members back together. I don't think it's entirely nostalgia. It's more like seeing your dead parents, whom you have had to get along without for years, alive again and having fun together one last time. It's tied in with our memories, but it's something like feeling that the world is right again.

Out of the mainstream ‘classic’ rock bands, Pink Floyd are easily my favorite, and have some outstanding albums, such as, Animals, Meddle, and The Piper at the Gates of Dawn. I also really like Ummagumma and A Saucerful of Secrets. So, definitely a yes from me.

While Dark Side has certainly grown on me over the years, it’s not near my favorite Pink Floyd album. I’d rank my top 5 something like:

I think it’s one of those albums where you probably had to be there at the time.

My older brother had a copy from new, so I was always immersed in it.

I was 9 going on 10 when I first heard this in 1967 and it was simply thrilling.

We still lived in a very brown decor dominated country, but my imagination, at least, was very colourful.
