Van Morrison with Chris Farlowe on Jools' Albert Hall Show

Postby Bob » 24 Sep 2017, 08:56

Did anyone see Van with Chris Farlowe last night at the Albert Hall with Jools Holland?

Talk about weird. At first I thought it was the ghost of Ian Paisley on stage. Farlowe always had a gaunt look about him, but this was rather disconcerting. He was not announced, but was almost sharing the singing with Van, with rather comic effect on Gloria when he didn't appear to want to sing the letters.

Of course he may be unwell and Van is giving him a friendly hand, in whcih case I'd better stop being sarky.

Why does he need a singer who sounds a bit like him?

Why doesn't Van just retire? He has caused me years of pain, so just let go, :x

The whole show was a shitstorm other than the broad in the backless spangly catsuit.
