China Crisis Reissues

Postby Pool Hall Richard » 18 Sep 2017, 16:02

Not a band I've seen mentioned much on BCB. I went to see them live in St.Albans last year, superb, small 150 man gig. They've just reissued the first 3 albums as 2/3cd deluxe editions and they're very good. I'm off to see them live again next month, any other takers for some China Crisis??

I liked them in the 80s. Haven't listened to them much since.

Never heard any albums but King In A Catholic Style popped up on the radio the other day and I enjoyed hearing that again.

My copies of these turned up yesterday. Already dug in a bit and they are lovely.

One of my mom's favorites...I'll have to check them out again, I've only ever heard What Price Paradise and Diary of a Hollow Horse.

Wishful Thinking is one of the loveliest songs ever.
I've never heard anything else by them that moved me in the slightest
