I think both Fireball and Who Do We Think We are? are terrific albums. I put off buying the latter for years because of negative comments but glad I finally took the plunge.

For me, each album has one song that ought to have been dropped ("Anyone's Daughter" and "Mary Long" respectively), and each should have had at least one more really good song to be fully satisfying. But they both have their share of tremendous tracks, the bewilderingly-maligned WDWTWA especially.

Strange Kind of Woman and Painted Horse would have been better inclusions but I actually don't mind either of those songs too much.

I love "Strange Kind Of Woman" but musically it's a little too much like "Demon's Eye" (in fact it replaced the latter on the US version of Fireball!). I like "Painted Horse" (more than "Mary Long" certainly) but I can see why it was left off WDWTWA.
