Floating Points - Reflections - Mojave Desert

It takes a big man to cry, but it takes a bigger man to laugh at that man.

didn't have you pegged as a post-rock fan, gash. This one called to mind Explosions in the Sky.

The redhead on keyboards looks like he could do with some sunblock.

I was there for the first-press Post Rock (Reynolds fanboy innit?) - Talk Talk/Bark Psychosis/Tortoise. I saw EitS live (supporting 4tet) - a bit goff for me.

Anything after that (hello Mogwai!) can farqorff, particularly "Modern Classical" aka indie Classical.

Give me Boulez and Birtwistle every time.

Floating Points has done some really good stuff in the past but I'm not impressed by the addition of Mr Epic Solo Man on the guitar. Bit naff and noodly really.
