Apparently Hightea was there lucky bastard!!

I would have traded my Ginger Baker's Airforce gig at the Royal Albert Hall in January 1970 for that one.

Well, almost....

[Frank's fave day of the year was Halloween - weird sod]

hightea is that way.

halloween is one of my fave days of the year. keep in mind i come from a place where masking is essential to one's soul mwhahaha

That's L. on vocals!

Knee-Deep whata gritty track to finish

[He adored Zappa and really looked up to him which for Frank must have been something very special - one of the early cultural mixes)

I just love that dirty violin sound.

lock up your daughters - it's filth!!!

The vocal chorus really lifted this song - is that a violin now - rather low. L's vocal is endearingly naïve.

You are very generous, my brother, and I appreciate the offer.

However, there is more than one way to acquire an album these days. Let me consult the dark side of the internet.

Yes - it is perfect.

I love wobbly vocals.

That's why I reckon Lee Jackson is one of the greatest 'singers' of all time!

That reminds me, we must do the Refugee album soon! (it's been years!)

You Tube is now bringing me Frank Zappa - Trance Fusion. Sounds like I may stick with it a while.

Unfortunately, our internet is intermittent with the weather (I must have had to reset 10 times during the listen) and I may get called to work at anytime as my company's biggest tradeshow of the year starts in about 45 minutes.

We do need to do a double sometime again soon, though. Let us consult. :D
