Confession time - I was a bit of a blues snob in my teens, have never really been a 'rock' fan in general, preferring smoother approaches. Used to really dislike Zeppelin, heard loads as most friends at a minimum level liked them, a couple were big fans. One in particular, Rita, whom I had went to primary & secondary schools with ended up becoming friends with Jimmy's mum (after tracking down her address & knocking on the door). Rita was invited to the premiere of The Song Remains the Same, met them all, was given a t. shirt and some other promo stuff. We used to enjoy arguing about music and took diametrical views.

I have begun to appreciate them, but largely only live. The studio stuff generally just hasn't clicked with me, not sure why.
