He's probably a nice guy, but I feel his music comes off as somewhat pompous and trying to impress with his vocal style.

Pick at random any 100 house/techno/rave DJs.

Result!
On the whole, I'd rather be in Wallenpaupack.

Not this one again.

Is it not obvious that Noel Gallagher is one of the finest men to walk the earth? Certainly one of the funniest. His brother, on the other hand, is an utter dick.

Both couldn't have been nicer when me and the Mrs met them - if anything Liam was the more engaging of the two. Evan Dando was nice too (I expect he's another name that could crop up if anyone remembers him). My brother met N+L on a flight to Tokyo and said they were very nice - guest listed him for their gig etc.

Damon Albarn was a total tool however.
I've been talking about writing a book - 25 years of TEFL - for a few years now. I've got it in me.

The lasses Mum tripped over Liams bags one time and apparently he was incredibly nice and apologetic. Wee things like that can tell you something about a person. Liam just seems a bit lost in his persona at times.

Noel is great. Funny, sharp, self deprecating. I hated him at the time but I like him now

I had a mate who lived in the same road as Liam in Hampstead. One evening I was helping him move some stuff, and Liam was sat on the porch a couple of doors up. As you say, he was charming and witty. I was a bit taken aback, because of all his bad press, but he was a good laugh.

I think Noel has settled down a bit these days, but when he lived in Gerrards cross, he was not the most popular man on the block.

Me too.

And if ever there was an artist who owed their livelyhood to looking after their fans then it's Otway.

Not when he's such a pompous prick he has to stop his show to tell his audience to stay still while he plays (as it happened when he played in Argentina a few years ago). They're cunts, both of them.
