One of those formative TOTP appearances that was squealed about in the playground the next day, see also "Dog Eat Dog", "Into the Valley" and "Swords of a Thousand Men".
Hip Someone who knows the score. Someone who understands jive talk Someone who is with it The expression is not subject to definition because, if you don't dig what it means, no one can ever tell you.

Always really liked it. I have that first album too. It's pretty good, front to back.

I had the misfortune to see her weave her ooh ooh! ooh ooh!s into Hawkwind's canon some years ago. V surreal.

SHIT. though not bad, either.

This sort of thing needs to be more fun for me to care about it.

Why people in my high school got beat up for liking "New Wave."

I found this quite irritating as a kid, and it still feels a little bit too gimmicky for its own good ( a lot of new wave seemed to have this quality, especially the more ersatz, bandwagonny stuff). It does sound better to me now though getting by on a certain brazen brassiness and a good drum track.
A cautious HIT.

I've never heard this before, but I like it. Hit.
