Helium voiced cunt nugget
Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
I assume this is one of Gash's 'jests'

Pretty bad, but hardly the worst thing that came out of commercial radio in the 70's.
Where would rock 'n' roll be without feedback?

Probably one of the first songs I can remember hearing as a toddler. The lyrics - waking up and your mama being gone - genuimely scared me.

It is pretty crap, but it did inspire this:

Had never heard it. I don't mind the verse with the minor bits, but the chorus is embarrassing. And why are they singing 'Chirpa chirpa' when the song is called 'Chirpy chirpy'? Crazy-town!

Guaranteed to raise a smile..even if it should've been 45 seconds shorter. This, Mungo Jerry and 'Ride a White Swan' basically invented glam rock.

They used to play this at the skating rink when I was 12. Hit!
