Wait a fucking minute, wasn't REM's Murmur* by a fucking country mile and a half the best debut in 1983? :x


*Chronic Town was an EP.
I've been talking about writing a book - 25 years of TEFL - for a few years now. I've got it in me.

Yes, REM does really get robbed in these polls by counting 'Chronic Town' as the debut. But oh well.
