Sorry was stuck in a meeting today. Big fan of Bundles since purchasing it for $0.99 in a cut out bin in 77. Then he started popping up everywhere.
TW Lifetime (75-76), two PM Gong(76-78), Ponty(77), Bruford(78). That summer we are waiting on line to see Al DiMeola at Central Parkand we see the concert sign that says the warm up band is a band called UK. We started joking about how band warmup bands are and about the name UK. The guy in line behind us says do you know who is in the band they are a new super group? Holdsworth, Wetton, Jobson and Bruford - They opened with Alaska. Holdsworth guitar was heavenly. Saw Holdsworth several times after that show but that one always stands out.

Nice story - oooooof!

I saw The Allan Holdsworth Trio in a small venue in the early 80s (1982?) - they were stunning. Chad Wackerman (ex-Zappa) was on tubs

Hopefully you'll be able to join us for Warm Jets next Friday - the pictures would be great!
