I love most of them, especially The Heart Of Saturday Night, Blue Valentine and Closing Time.

...would be my top 3 of the proper albums.
On the whole, I'd rather be in Wallenpaupack.

The regular albums all have their gems, but One From The Heart is my favorite by far.

He's more than overdue a remaster/reissue programme. Those early albums are mostly still on shitty masters from the 80s.

Good one, Davey, a superb choice.
Nanci Griffith would concur, it's one of three Waits' songs on Ruby's Torch, the others being Grapefruit Moon & Ruby's Arms, from which the album was named.

Small Change is superb, could very well be my favorite Waits album, maybe following Rain Dogs.

Toss up between Small Change and Blue Valentines for me. They've all got their gems though.
