I also don't much care for the title track to my beloved Farewell Aldebaran. But mostly 'cause it sounds dated. It doesn't offend me as much as the Paul songs.

I Like The Ocean. Hats Off To (Roy) Harper is the worse Zep one I can think of.

Oh, the closing tracks to any of their first three are all weak.

True actually.

Of course it is! (Actually, I love all of the closing tracks on the first five.)

And the third Velvets album just wouldn't be right without "After Hours".

Surprised no-one here has mentioned "Some Girls Are Bigger Than Others".

And I'll mention "Maggie M'Gill".

Fear by John Cale is great from start to finish... as long as you don't play that last song. That one really stinks the joint up.

I actually like it but do think it's a relatively weak ending compared to the rest of the album

I love that one. I've long suspected its Carry On title and throw away lyrics always distract from a glorious Marr production, full of that shimmering, echoey thing they never did enough of.

Sometimes I Make You Sad by Supergrass kinda ruins In It For The Money. It's not as bad as Her Majesty though.

"Twisted" is vital, its light-heartedness casts a sunny atmos over the heartache of what's already come, ensuring it never becomes draggy, it vivifies it.
It takes a big man to cry, but it takes a bigger man to laugh at that man.
