I have heard this album a few times before, but to be honest the only track I have any memory of is Lady Of The Lake.

This second one sounds very promising so far.

Great story - what Tull tour was that then - I saw all the Tull tours - perhaps Starcastle didn't support on all the gigs

It was in Calgery - I was on holiday in Canada. To Old To Rock and Roll tour I think. Last date of the tour. Anderson in Superman cape.

I consider it a very consistent album

Terry sounds like Stephen Stills at times

And yours, my friend. Don't know that you'll need that cowbell tonight, although things did just shift to the louder end of the spectrum. Let no man keep the cowbell down!

The bass guitar is thunderous throughout

Great keys too (and tubs!)

it is amazing, is it not, how some albums you heard at a formative time just seem to cut a new synaptic route in yer brain, one that never leaves you. this is happifying me and dropping 40 years from my brain's waist line mwhahahaa

I believe Oliver Wakeman - or it might have been Adam - played with a reformed version of the band which is kind of ironic.
