I've only listened to the Malaria! stuff posted thus far and I enjoyed it quite a bit. Giving this a bump so I don't forget the rest.

Hurray! One of my fave underground genres! I will admit to like the electro-genre a bit better than most of the wave-bands but through a lot of the wave that appeared in the early 80s there were some highlights.



Fehlfarben- great post-punk band. Es Geht Voran was a big hit, this album is still their best.

...and the only one of the lot I ever saw live- man, Manuela Rickers was my first guitar heroine!




These days when Neue Deutsche welle comes up it is indeed the more well-known, poppy sounds from Rheingold, DAF, Grauzone (Eisbär) or Trio.
