Unfortunately Argentinian stores don't have much in the way of diversity so I find myself buying less and less music over time. Nevertheless, if I find something cool I'll try to get it.

In terms of films, Argentinian stores are even *worse*. My only chance to acquire new stuff is to take advantage of anyone I know that is going to the US for a week or two, and that happens twice a year or so. My latest purchase, which was back around October/November...

Don't Look Now (Nicolas Roeg)
The Emmigrants / The New Land (Jan Troell)
A Brighter Summer Day (Edward Yang)
Paris Belongs to Us (Jacques Rivette)
The American Friend (Wim Wenders)

Hey Algroth, I didn't know you were over here too. Good to see you.

'Don't Look Now' is superb. Very gialli like.

CD's
Paco De Lucia "Entre Dos Aguas" (a flamenco guitarist recommendation from a friend in Madrid)
Genesis "Trespass"(the slump into the Genesis canon continues almost unabated)
New Order "Music Complete" (recommended by Yomptepi  )
The The "Mind Bomb" "Infected" and "Dusk" (about time too)
Orange Juice "Heather's On Fire" (got this ridiculously cheap - £4 delivered)
Sinatra/Jobim "The Complete Reprise Recordings" (pretty much completes my 60s Sinatra, I think)
Siouxsie & The Banshees "Nocturne" (nice to hear Robert Smith in the band)

Books
Shaun Usher "Letters of Note: Correspondence Deserving of a Wider Audience"
Dixon Scott & Jonathon Coudrille "Fresh Wind In The Willows"
John H Davis " Mafia Dynasty: The Rise and Fall of the Gambino Crime Family "

Also got both Boscastle & Cape Cornwall "Tide Tables 2017"... an invaluable guide to the tides to the hour throughout the year... and a Colour Changing Egg Timer.......

If you haven't already, be sure to watch the "Nocturne" video also. It's one of the best sounding live recordings I've ever heard.

That's pretty much all I use it for.
I guess I make the occasional purchase on their marketplace.

I was going to look for a DVD but I so rarely watch music vids I didn't bother in the end. I've seen clips on Youtube mind, and it does look very strong. Thanks.

Nice! Cosmic Jokers are one of those bands that are great to listen to on headphones at about 3 in the morning.

Funny enough that is pretty much how it worked out.

There's a phone app that scans the barcode, it speeds the process up, although I have gradually added my collection over the last year or so.

I'd never have had the time or patience to do it in a hurry...

yeah, adding to discogs was about a week-long therapy session at first, now it's a way of life.Once you get caught up you gotta stay caught up.
Sometimes I'll enter stuff while sitting in the car after buying records.
