FINAL ROUND OF THE BCB Cup - VOTE!!!!!

Yeah I don't want to just kick it off without them. Felix already messaged me on Facebook saying he'll get them to me soon and Joels344 couldn't log in due to password issues and isn't connected with me on Facebook....

I am proposing a Play-In Game. to resolve two issues.

1. The late lists. We have 4 people who did not get their lists to me on time.
2. The late sign-ups. We have 4 people who signed up after the cut off point of 32.

4 people haven't sent their lists in to me by the cut-off time of midnight GMT Wednesday as I requested. Without them we would have a nice power of 2 make up of 32 players, thus eliminating the need for seeding and byes etc... but they want to play and I do really want everyone who wants to play to be able to play.

So...rather than boot them out I've decided to do a Play-in Game. The play-in game will be a competition between the four players with as yet unreceived LATE lists and the 4 players who signed up AFTER the list was capped.* These 8 people would go head to head in two person matches with THREE tracks each.

Play-in participants would be those with late lists:
joels344
Buddha B-Rex
toomanyhatz
Neige

and those who signed up after the 32 player.
Johnny Fartpants
driftin
The Fish
Jumper K

Hopefully that is acceptable to everyone.

All 8 of these players must send me 3 tracks more or less immediately for the play-in game-- they don't need to be tracks from your cup lists at all -- just 3 great tracks of your choosing for a Play-In game. We'll then vote and thereby eliminate 4 players, after which we will kick off the official cup.

Of course this presupposes that I will actually get the three play in tracks from the 8 players and that the four late lists will come in today.

If I don't get the ten tracks and three play in track from the late folks by 3:00 pm MST TODAY we'll just have to kick it off without them. I will be eliminating the four players who didn't get their lists to me in time - Joels344, Budda B-Rex, toomanyhatz, and Neige, sorry guys.

For full disclosure, Joel was locked out of the boards and Neige has said he'll get them to me on his lunch break...

OK, as much as I hate to admit it, I'm not terribly inspired to come up with 13 tracks in the next couple hours. It came at a very busy time for me, and snuck up as usual. I hate to deny somebody else a place just 'cause I couldn't get my shit together. I promise I'll vote.

Would it be possible to have the BCB Cup 2017 section on the main forum list, under Screenadelica? It makes it much more accessible rather than having to click through various subforums. The threads could all then be bunged in the main Cup forum when the competition is over...
