Apparently they are huge in the states, but I am quite confident that I would despise Avenged Sevenfold.

well I nominated them in the "Bands you avoided because you were sure they were shit, then heard and it turns out you were right" thread which tells you all you need to know.

I've studiously avoided Imagine Dragons as I really don't think I'll like them, and I feel a bit bad as I have a personal connection to them as they are huge supporters of a band some good friends of mine are in.

I think they're Queen with Radiohead mixed in.

We're cooking up a pretty good "Festival of the Damned," here.
Three days, at least.
Let U be the set of all united sets, K be the set of the kids and D be the set of things divided.
Then it follows that ∀ k ∈ K: K ∈ U ⇒ k ∉ D

:D

I never heard 999 and gladly agree with you, Clive.

I do have one LP by the Lurkers, God's Lonely Men I think it's called. I played it once but didn't make it to the end of side 1 (and I am quite forgiving).

So you are perfectly right.

I'm willing to send you that LP by the way.
On the whole, I'd rather be in Wallenpaupack.
