This thread is everything that's wrong with BCB. We should be either ignore the threads we don't like or be honest enough to name a few fucking names.

I would respectfully disagree.
It isn't a matter of cowardice or dishonesty – at least, not always ;) . Sometimes this thread is useful as a place to vent when something, often something tangential, annoys me in a thread where it's not appropriate to mention it (an RIP thread, for instance, or a serious discussion, or where the person who is doing the – usually inadvertent – annoying has a tendency to go off on one or get into flaming, which can be embarrassing for those involved and just plain annoying for those not involved).
Of course, I could just suck it up, or start a call-out thread, or something, but I'd rather put something in here, or in my Pedanticus thread, which has more or the less the same motivation.

I use it for an altogether different purpose.

I don't like destroying perfectly good threads responding to the baiting/twattery of Neville from Norwich.

So, generally, I reply on here.

Puerile...but it's difficult to defend the indefensible, I suppose.

I don't mind people replying on here, just wish they'd call a cunt a cunt. It's all so cryptic.

Sheer voyeurism and paranoia, here! This thread is the weirdest place.
Let U be the set of all united sets, K be the set of the kids and D be the set of things divided.
Then it follows that ∀ k ∈ K: K ∈ U ⇒ k ∉ D

Two years after South Africa introduced the world’s most draconian immigration policy for visiting families, British travellers are still losing thousands of pounds because they are unaware of the strict rules.

Call-out threads are dull as hell. BCB's constant self-examination is about as exciting as watching a dog chase its own tail. Kind of a similar experience, all told, with about as defined a goal.

Also, the wrong names have been named many, many times.

Really, I prefer this thread for the simple reason that I don't always know exactly what it's talking about. Though some have done their best to bring the monotony here.
