Magazine are too arty for the US vote, but they were definitely superior to Go4.

Yep, they get my vote.
The Happy Mondays were disqualified from a special edition of the BBC’s Bargain Hunt after Bez broke the show’s rules by artificially inflating prices, handing victory to Pulp.

I guess I'm alone in thinking it's their best.

I like both but with the lists provided, it's Magazine for me!

What do we think of their 'sell-out' singles, then?

Magazine by quite some distance. I like Go4 singles like I Found That Essence Rare and Damaged Goods a lot but they're comprehensively outshone by the drama and depth that Magazine could conjure. They remain curiously unheralded despite their obvious talents and (to my ears) continuing relevance.
