No, I think she's talking about "Return of the Giant Hogweed"!

As long as it's not Calling All Stations..., something which would upset us all, I am sure!

Really interesting - you don't write enough on music threads IMO and didn't realise you had such wide interests.

I wonder how many Philip Glass fans there actually are on here....

Great stuff, but way too short.

I cannot believe you liked Oasis. They were sooooo thick.

A great read, cheers to both of you.

I’d skip school to go and see Jazz and Classical performances in Leeds. I completely disconnected from everything my peers seemed to be listening to. It wasn’t just in terms of music but everything really.

It's funny how that teen thing can affect us in much the same way, coz this was pretty much me too - except for the classical part substitute blues. And of course the Leeds bit. :) When I skipped school I would go to the two Salvos stores within bike-riding distance of my place and spend a couple of hours going through their stacks for jazz and blues records. I wasn't totally disconnected from the 80s stuff my mates were into, but journeying back into past music was much more interesting to me, and my jazz and blues obsession has continued to this day.

Do you still listen to any jazz now?
