One of the best back to back three album runs ever.

Instead of trying to disguise myself with BCB-friendly fare in the 90s cup I should've gone the opposite way and submitted more of this.

Andrew Liles instrumental remake of Sisters of Mercy's First and Last and Always, released exactly 30 years after the original. Almost certainly pointless, not sure why I bought it, though Liles is usually vaguely interesting.

I pulled out some old JU cds the other day and have been enjoying them. Sam's Poor Man's Sunshine is on now. Groovalicious!

I heard a little bit of this and thought it was excellent. Actually, I think there must have been another pretty recent comp - this was a few months ago.
Somalia! Who knew?!

Yes – in 2013, a quick search reveals. They’re new to me though! I just read their Wikipedia entry and now my head is spinning.

Overdrive - Swords and Axes (1984), good American Swedish speed metal, if you're into that sort of thing.

One of the two new albums Hardy Fox uploaded to bandcamp, shortly after announcing his death. Looks like Rayge should approve of this, from the cover.

Let U be the set of all united sets, K be the set of the kids and D be the set of things divided.
Then it follows that ∀ k ∈ K: K ∈ U ⇒ k ∉ D

Split witch-house CD between Fostercare and Ritualz. The Fostercare half is actually surprisingly good.

Re-release of French minimal synth stuff on Soul Jazz records. Hopefully soul jazz are going to get into re-releasing more of this kinda stuff, and hence into NDW...

Btw, I searched for this without quotes, and the google images that came back were all lingerie.

Blimey, the 'New Weird America' freak folk thing seems a long time ago. This is a live recording of avant-garde alt-country plinky-plonkiness.
