The Moon Lay Hidden Beneath a Cloud are such a unique, stand out band, a brief flicker of genius. Love them to bits. It's a pity that one of them is a right wing tosser, and the other one appears to have dropped out of music completely.

Speaking of right-wing politics, listening to that album naturally led me into Take Care and Control by Death in June. What a brilliant and engrossing collaboration this album has turned out to be so far.

A return to beats and tunes, which is always welcome. Especially after the rather intimidating noise scape of the last album. All I need to be completely happy is another Linnea vocal, with a little dance thrown in. This certainly points that way.

I have to say I am unashamedly loving this. Cali is as good a song as they've ever released.

Re new Beck - agree w/ CG - like a diet consisting of nothing but sherbet and haribo. Fun at the start but quickly makes you rather queasy.
