45 songs performed by the American Band of the Allied Expeditionary Force led by MAJ Glenn Miller, US Army Air Forces, recorded in the Abbey Road Studios from 30 October - 27 November 1944 and transmitted by the American Broadcasting Station in Europe. During WWII, the US Office of War Information commissioned recordings and broadcasts to be directed to the Axis countries as part of the Allied propaganda campaign.
