Re: NOW PLAYING.
I was always disappointed that Terry Riley never made it a trilogy:
In C
Win C
Spider
In C
Win C
Spider
Like fast-moving clouds casting shadows against a hillside, the melody-loop shuddered with a sense of the sublime, the awful unknowable majesty of the world.

Anyway...
GTA IV's Liberty City at night vibes.
*edit* Now that I think about it Terry Riley was also on GTA IV's soundtrack on the same radio station as Global Communication.

I really like the use of pulsing electronics and rumbling bass on this, it reminds me of the collab with The Haxan Cloak. I'm on the fence about the use of neoclassical, dark wave, and trip-hop beats though.

They've released a collaboration with Uniform which I really want to hear, too.

Proper energetic and eclectic prog madness. Koenji Hyakkei sets themselves apart from other modern progressive rock groups.

I've not heard that in ages, or anything else by Tatsuya, if I recall his name correctly. I prefer Ruins, the vocals are more of a struggle with Koenji.

I still need to explore Ruins. It’s strange I haven’t done so already, since I’m huge fan of avant-prog.

I was at a wedding last week talking to Adam Smith (keyboards , guitar) , who is my best friends nephew. New music is on the way apparently. The second album didn't touch the heights of Sun . They have parted company with the drummer thank goodness.
