Where would rock 'n' roll be without feedback?

Hadaka No Rallizes - Yodo Go-a-Go-Go
Apparently rarities and very old recordings by Rallizes Denudes dating back to the late 60's.

Ooo, I've not heard that. Is it another feedback frenzy, or closer to the more relaxed Mizutani album?

Re: NOW PLAYING.
I was at both nights that made up this LP, 2 of the best gigs I've ever seen. I'd never been to the RAH before, the visuals were fabulous we'd got floor tickets and were up close. They'd rejigged the songs - I don't know if it was just for the occasion or because Rob Smith was filling in for McGeoch. Switch, Pulled to Bits and Voodoo Dolly are definitive live versions for me, I've never seen a gig ended so well when they did Dolly. The atmosphere was fab, the place looked like a massive Visage video, the freak factor was high. Anyway back to the days when I could disappear to London on the train for a weekend, see a few gigs, buy the tapes on Camden market from Fat Al the following day, go to club instead of a hotel room and be back home to Mumsie in time for Sunday tea.

The noise level varies from track to track. Some of it is actually kind of mellow, which makes the feedback eruptions all the more ear-shattering, I would say.

Been listening to lots of 80s country for the past two weeks. Time to change gears.

Re: NOW PLAYING.
currently looping through these 3
I'm probably in the minority that think these were Japan's best work, everything after this is for guardian readers.
Adolescent sounds like a mash up of Roxy, Bowie and Talking Heads with chainsaw guitar. Transmission, Television and Suburban are the standouts.
Obscure Alternatives is my fave it sounds more post-punk, I hear Antz and stuff that Bauhaus hadn't thought of until Mask, the Tenant is a masterpiece.
Quiet Life is OK but its the start of them disappearing up their own arses. Quiet Life, Fall In Love and Halloween are killer but the rest of it is a bit of a snooze. Despair is a rewrite of Tenant but in this new slick style, In vogue sounds like they cut it from Fall in Love bass line, ATP is the worst Velvet's cover I've ever heard.period.

Brand new album from Justin Broadrick & Kevin Martin (Techno Animal, Godflesh, The Bug, etc), featuring Moor Mother. She is a force to be reckoned with.

Of course! RcL was way into this when it came out. As I recall.

Would you believe it's a first listen?
Let U be the set of all united sets, K be the set of the kids and D be the set of things divided.
Then it follows that ∀ k ∈ K: K ∈ U ⇒ k ∉ D
Then it follows that ∀ k ∈ K: K ∈ U ⇒ k ∉ D
