To paraphrase Frank Zappa. you're probebly wondering why I'm playing this and, frankly, so am I.

MONO

Actually sounds quite a bit different than the mix I'm used to.

Ivory - s/t

Late 60's folk rock band, but with a serious garage edge due to use of heavy fuzz guitar. Definitely an Airplane influence here. Better than your run-of-the-mill Nuggety material.

Brilliant album overall, but "Jennifer" gets stuck in my head for days after hearing it.

Well, this was one brilliant fusion of sound, samples and instrumentation that all felt fluid, interesting and organized throughout the entire 49 minutes. This could very well end up on my favorites list with multiple listens. Incredible work and highly recommended.

I love that one, it's one of their last absolutely top-quality works. "Two Shaves and a Shine" is probably their best ever track, that bass line and David Tibet's brief frenzied vocal is brilliantly insane: "My stunted fingers, piss-stained knuckles clog with blood, start to buckle; murdered turtles, mildew moss, dead pets and gardens I'm the boss".
