I wasn't aware of a connection between the mighty Tammys and Lou Christie.

They were friends and when Christie got a bit of fame he brought them on as backup singers for a while and also helped get them signed to United Artists.

Ah, interesting.
Where would rock 'n' roll be without feedback?

New cd/dvd set featuring a 2002 performance by the reunited Prunes. It won't make you forget the amazing Stockholm 67 set, but it's worthwhile for fans, and features the only live renditions of Prunes classics such as "The Great Banana Hoax" "Little Olive" and "Ain't It Hard" that are available anywhere, so far as I know.

That reminds me how badly I need to dig out my Stockholm 67 CD. Haven't listened to that in way too long.

I'd forgotten all about that. One woman, isn't it, who can properly sing.

Yeah, she gets lots of shit from black metal purist types - you know, assholes. I think she's great.

I'm not convinced by this album so far. It sounds like a failed hair metal from the 1980's attempting to do something to show off their musicianship with no motivation behind the concepts and structures. Also, the album cover is hilarious looking.

Still can't believe that latest Dulux paint ad uses "Last Caress" as it's background music, even if it doesn't play any of the lyrics, it's still on dodgy ground.

Must be absolutely ages since I've heard this, the bass is sounding spectacular on these headphones.

I was thinking of getting this, though it appears to have sold out already. Zeitkratzer are normally fairly reliable with their classical orchestrations of odd releases. https://karlrecords.bandcamp.com/album/ ... raftwerk-2
